ABS-3А Satellite Successfully Launched from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station

Intersputnik announces that on March 1 the ABS-3A satellite was successfully launched into space from Space Launch Complex 40 at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, Florida, on the Falcon 9 rocket.

Manufactured by Boeing Space Systems International, ABS-3A features up to 48 active C and Ku-band transponders across 7 different beams including those covering the Americas, Europe, Africa, and the Middle East. ABS-3A will utilize some frequencies from Intersputnik’s filings located at 3 degrees West.
