Intersputnik to hold seminar dedicated to the development of national satellite telecommunications systems and new technologies
On June 13, 2017, on the eve of the joint XLV session of the Board and 20th meeting of the Operations Committee (Prague, June 14-15), Intersputnik will hold its first seminar dedicated to the development of national satellite telecommunications systems in the Member Countries of Intersputnik, and to cutting-edge telecommunications technologies. The seminar will be attended by representatives of the telecommunications administrations of the Member Countries, national operators, and experts.
The main purpose of the seminar is to exchange experience and information and discuss opportunities of bilateral and multilateral cooperation among the Member Countries. Colleagues from Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Hungary, Laos, Mongolia, Nicaragua, Russia, and Ukraine will speak about their national systems while new technologies will be presented by Belarus, Germany, Russia, and several experts, including a presentation by the ITU. It is expected that this practice will become customary to serve as a firm basis for the development of projects using the competences and capabilities of the Members and Signatories of Intersputnik.
