Bidders under Development Program chosen

October 31, 2019 – The tender board of the Program for the Development of Satellite Telecommunications Business in the Member-Countries of Intersputnik (‘the Development Program’) completed the evaluation of applications. It was found that the requirements of the Development Program were met by a single bidder - Isatcom LLC from Mongolia – which plans to launch a triple play project to offer broadband, voice and video service in rural areas. The company was qualified to take part in the tenders. This November the tender board will evaluate the project and make a decision on its financing. The results of the 2019 tenders will be announced in December.
