In accordance with Article 102 of the Charter of the United Nations (UN), the Agreement of 15 November 1971 on the Establishment of the Intersputnik International System and Organization of Space Communications was registered with the UN Secretariat on 27 March 1973 under No. 12343.

International Seminar on Regulations and Satellite Networks Development in Central Asia

On 8–9 September 2026, Intersputnik and ITU, with the support of the Communications Administration of the Kyrgyz Republic, held a training seminar “Satellite Communications: Regulatory and Technical Aspects” in Bishkek (Kyrgyzstan). The event was hosted by the I. Razzakov Kyrgyz State Technical University (KSTU).
